We had a beautiful evening at Trinity Presbyterian — a tapestry of stories, music, and tools to fight authoritarianism with courage and moral clarity. Thanks to Qais Essar, master of the rabab, who ignited our hearts.
While in the area, we did a program for Sikh youth and families at SEWA Gurdwara — sharing ancestral stories from #SageWarrior, drawing lessons for today from Guru Hargobind Ji who freed the imprisoned on #BandiChhorrDivas and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, martyred for standing up to protect the persecuted. We were grateful for the blessings of our elders and inspired by the light of these children!
We also enjoyed a brunch with friends of Revolutionary Love Project — artists, spiritual practitioners, and collaborators. We reflected together on how we build community through this impossible time. In true community, the labor for justice is joyful.
