women in leadership Tag

I had such a lovely time speaking at "Sikh Women in Contemporary America" event hosted by the Sikh Coalition. Inni Kaur, Reshma Singh, and I shared stories and experiences of the ways in which our faith has influenced our professional lives. The audience was full of thoughtful and inspiring young women and men, some of whom wrote about their experiences at the event here. You can also check out the photos from the event on the Sikh Coalition's Facebook Page here. (Photo Source: The Sikh Coalition)

Check out this video from Auburn Seminary's "How Women Will Change the World in the 21st Century" event in NYC. I was so excited to represent what I often call the "Shadow Generation" - those of us who came of age after 9/11. We are diverse, active, and committed to change institutions of power. I also spoke about women in  leadership and faith.
