Conceived of and directed by Farah Yasmeen Shaikh, TRANSITION is a dance, music and spoken word collaboration based on the words written and spoken by Valarie Kaur from her book SEE NO STRANGER set to music composed and performed by Annette Philip, and choreographed and performed by 6 dancers from across the US: Farah Yasmeen Shaikh, Alicia Nascimento-Castro, Athena Nair, Aysha Upchurch, Brinda Guha and Nadhi Thekkek.
