A recurrent theme in the 2025-26 series will be “kindness to the stranger.” \nIn our deeply fractured world\, religion serves both to connect and offer wisdom and to foster conflict and division. Held on the Washoe homelands in the Tahoe Basin\, this event will bring the community together for an evening of revolutionary love\, healing\, music\, and celebration. \nIn solidarity with the Washoe Tribe\, and with the support of the Buryat Tribe of Mongolia\, and the Nisenan\, Miwak\, and the Northern Paiute of the Sierras\, the gathering will bring the community together to drive awareness and center collective prayer for the land and the people of the Sierras\, building momentum for a broader movement for societal change.
